According to the World Bank’s ‘Doing Business’ report 2017, Lesotho is ranked 39th position out of 190 economies on ‘Ease of Trading Across Boarders’ indicator. Due to its free enterprise and free market economic systems, the environment has become more investor friendly which is essential for development and growth. Legal foreign entities are allowed to trade in Lesotho. The Chamber as an independent organisation, also plays the role of matchmaking – organizing meetings between groups and potential investors.
